Triangular Needles
42G (Extra Fine) Used for delicate work and fine detail.
40G (Fine) Great for adding colour, smoothing the surface, and refining detail.
38G (Medium) A great all-rounder. Ideal for shaping and adding colour.
36G (Coarse) Best for shaping and sculpting larger pieces.
32G (Extra Coarse) The thickest needle, used for quickly felting larger amounts of wool.
 
Spiral Needles
Twisted tips allow for faster felting. Great for tightening fibres and achieving a smoother finish, especially when adding colour.
Star Needles
Star-shaped tips with extra barbs for faster felting. Ideal when you want to speed up the process.
Reverse Needles
Designed to pull fibres out instead of pushing them in. Great for creating a fluffy, fur-like finish Best used with coloured wool in the core (not cream core wool) Can also be used to blend colours by pulling fibres out and felting them back in.
